Today Daisy and I walked Ethan to school, she pulled at the leash when he walked in the front gates, and I knew she wanted to go in too.
Kids ran past us late for school and Daisy thought it was a game. She started running after them!
When we walked past the elementary school on our way home, large seagulls circled the playground, swooping and calling to one another. Daisy was absolutely captivated and stopped to watch. I think it was the first time she noticed the big white birds.
I wonder what she was thinking as they flew around and flapped their wings. We stood in the damp coolness of the morning and watched them for a long time.
